Conversion tracking and reporting
Which channel paid, reported as cost per booked estimate.
Who this is for
Trades spending on more than one channel who cannot say which one produced last month's jobs. Also anyone who has been shown a slide of impressions and reach and wondered what it had to do with their calendar.
The problem it solves
You should be able to see which channel is paying and which is not. Most trade businesses cannot, because calls, forms, and messages arrive from everywhere and nobody logs where each one came from. Without that record, every marketing decision is a guess and every agency report is a slide of numbers that only look good. The number that matters is what it cost to put a real estimate on the calendar, by source.
What is included
- Call tracking by source, with recordings where you want them
- Form, profile message, and DM tracking wired to the same record
- A shared sheet you own: date, name, number, trade, town, source, outcome
- Ad platform conversion tracking set to booked estimates, not clicks
- A monthly report in plain words: what we did, what moved, what it cost per booked estimate, what we will do next
What is not included
- Dashboards full of vanity numbers; if a metric does not change a decision, it does not go in the report
- Claiming credit for jobs that came from a referral or a repeat customer; the source is recorded honestly
How it runs
- 01
Instrument every channel
Tracking numbers per source, form tracking, message routing, and ad platform conversions all pointed at one record.
- 02
Define the outcome
A booked estimate is a real person in your area with a real address and a time on the calendar. That definition is fixed before anything is counted.
- 03
Report and decide
Each month the record is read back as cost per booked estimate by channel, and next month's spend follows what it says.
What we need from you
- Access to your ad accounts, site, and Google profile
- How you mark an estimate as booked today, so the outcome can be recorded
Timeline
Tracking is installed in the first weeks alongside the other setup work. The first full monthly report follows the first full month of data.
How pricing works
Tracking setup is part of the one-time setup fee and the monthly report is part of every ongoing arrangement; it is how we judge our own work. Quoted after the free audit. The small monthly cost of tracking numbers is billed to you at cost by the provider. What you own, whatever happens.
Questions owners ask about this
What counts as a booked estimate?
A real person in your service area, with a real address and a time on your calendar, who has agreed to have you come out and quote the work. Wrong numbers, spam forms, people outside your area, and anyone who never confirms a slot do not count and are never billed as one.
Do we get access to the data?
You own it. The sheet is in your account, the tracking accounts are in your name, and you can open any of it any time without asking us.
Will you report clicks and impressions?
We look at them internally as diagnostics. The report you receive is about booked estimates and what each one cost, by channel, because that is the only number that maps to your calendar.
